Fully aware of the importance of sustainable development in the area of transportation, Air Arabia Maroc, the leading low cost airline in the region, supported a team of Moroccan engineering students, that participated in the "Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle", international competition held from 6 to 12 August 2018 in the province of Kocaeli in Turkey.

Held every summer in Turkey, the "Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle" is a groundbreaking initiative that brings together universities from around the world. It contributes to raising awareness about the use of alternative energies and highlights students' interdisciplinary work.

On this occasion, Air Arabia Maroc sponsored an electric car project, entitled "Hercules" designed and manufactured by a group of Abdelmalek Essaâdi University students in Tangier. The company is glad to support the young entrepreneurs for this excellent initiative and wish them good luck for the competition.
